We are doing a BALL DRIVE....but good news we would love anything outdoor for the kids!!! Some of our students, even our own children have outgrown the current playground and often find themselves sitting at recess or just walking around. We are working diligently to get them a new playground, but until then we want to collect outdoor equipment for them!! We would love anything such as frisbees, jump ropes, soccer balls, kick balls, basketballs, footballs, chalk, volleyballs and anything else you can think of!!!
This year being 2020 the year of CRAZY! We cannot get one set for the playground or even for the grades, we have to get EACH CLASSROOM THEIR OWN SET OF EQUIPMENT!! And a mesh bag to carry them and make it easy to clean them!
Another thing we would LOVE for you to do as a family is talk to your kids, ask them what equipment they would love to see and use during recess. We would love for you to share photos of how your family stays active or even of your kiddo telling us what they would love to get in the ball drive for their class. We want to involve our wonderful families in all the things that we do!!! Bassetti Bear Family is the best and we all want what is best for our kids!!
Let’s keep our kids active and happy! All you have to do it send equipment with your student to put in the GIANT drive box in the foyer!!! We will pick up the balls so it doesn’t get too full and then we will distribute to classes once the drive is done on October 2. If you are unable to come to the school to bring balls no problem, we set up an Amazon wish list for them to be sent straight to us! No hassle!! We are so excited to keep these kids happy while we work towards a new playground and thank you for participating in all the fundraisers and things that we do! It is all for the kids!!
